About Our Math Competition

 

Get ready for an exciting opportunity to sharpen your child’s math skills and spark their enthusiasm for problem-solving!

 

Our upcoming Math Competition is aligned with the BC Curriculum and designed to meet students at the grade level they will be entering this September. It’s a fantastic way to build confidence, encourage healthy academic competition, and celebrate the joy of learning. 
 

🗓️ Local Level: August 3, 2025
🏅 District Level: August 17, 2025
 

To help participants feel fully prepared, we’re offering a 45-minute prep class on July 11 and 25 included in the registration fee. These sessions give students a chance to review key concepts, get familiar with the format, and approach the competition with confidence.

 

Participants will be split into two age groups: grades 4–6 and grades 7–9. However, each child will receive a test based on their actual upcoming grade level, and will be ranked by percentage to ensure fairness across the board. The top participant from each area in the local level will be invited to compete in the district level exam.

 

All participants will receive a personalized certificate of achievement, and the top performer in each age group will receive a special prize in recognition of their excellence! All participants are encouraged to join us for an award ceremony on September 6, 2025 to recieve their due recognition.
